More of Me: The Abridged Version (part 2?)

I finally had a few minutes to sit down the other day and do some more work on my Me: The Abridged Version book.  I thought I'd share the pages with you.

I'm still really enjoying this project. I just wish I had more uninterrupted time to work on it.  The writing requires a level of concentration that is not possible when your family is running around behind you.  I guess I'll have to pull some more late nights (like I did when I finished these pages) to get the book finished.

You can see, if you compare to my last post, that I haven't made to much progress. Fortunately, I have no deadline.  I am more interested in writing something that is meaningful and will capture the real "Me" than I am in getting finished. So, I will take my time and write when I can and not worry about it when I can't.

Anyway, without further ado:

I just added some more to this page. Thought it was vital to include documentation about my disregard for the avocado (ha!)

And one more:

Well, like I said, I haven't made much progress. But I'll keep plugging away and share with you when I make some more pages.

  1. I loved your avocado story. Now, I do like avocados but there are some things I don’t like – one is cheesecake with or without fruit. It’s all because I know the ingredients in it and I don’t like cream cheese. But, now that I’m lactose intolerant, it’s a good thing I never liked cheesecake – it’s one less thing for me to miss.

  4. Cute pages. I took this class too and loved it, it will be something to look back on. My husband said after reading it he learned some new things about me, even after being together for 28 years!

  5. I love your blogs, and the little things you post from your digital scrapping. Your girls look like best friends. That is nice…
Oh and I hate avocados too! The consistency makes me want to gag. Scott could eat guacamole right out of a jar. ewww

  6. I love these pages and the journaling. I took Random Me: A-Z a few years ago. I have the pages all set up, but that’s about it. Maybe I’ll make that a goal for the first of the year. I’ll be back to check out the next set.

  7. Random Me was based on the same book and the concept is identical. The album was set up quite differently though. If I ever get it done, I’ll send you a link. 🙂
