I know, I know… I bet you thought I’d quit scrapbooking, didn’t you?
Well, to be perfectly honest, I wasn’t sure myself. I haven’t felt the urge to scrapbook at all since July. I am not sure whether it was just because life was so busy or what. I had an album project I was working on besides Project Life and I got a little stymied there and it sort of killed my mojo.
I have been thinking for weeks about how sad it would be to not finish Project Life for the rest of the year – to only have January – June captured and then… nothing. Sad indeed.
But I couldn’t seem to get started. I didn’t want to sort through pictures and piles of paper. I didn’t want to cut and stick and all that stuff. And then one day I thought, well what about digital? So, I mulled that over for a few days and finally decided that anything was better than nothing and if doing it digitally got me started, it was worth doing.
So, on Saturday afternoon, when it was quiet and I had a few minutes to myself, I sat down and decided to tackle a few pages and see how things went.
I managed to get two weeks done – six pages in all – and I’m pretty pleased with the results.
I think I may just do the rest of the year this way. It’s nice and neat and easy for me to do. I guess I’ll see. Right now, it’s working for me.
So here are the pages:
I hope you enjoy!
and, I hope I have some more to share next week!
I’ve done digital all year and I do truly love how nice and neat it is, to use your words. Your pages look great! It is a lot easier to get caught up quickly digitally, too. Keep going while you’ve got the momentum. Your pages look great and you’ll be so glad you kept at it! I look forward to seeing next week!

Thanks! I do love the pages. And the fact that I’m not letting things get stuck just because I didn’t want to do traditional. I am hoping to do quite a bit of catching up this weekend. Stay tuned!

I’m getting to where I can’t stand the mess of traditional scrapbooking. Digital it is for me – at least for the rest of the year!

Love your pages and how you captured little things like the bowling scores. I’ve thought about going to digital next year, but I think I’m going to stick with hardcopy for one more year before I decide.

I really struggled with the decision last year about what to do for 2012 because most of my scrapbooking is digital now. I did great for the first 5 months with the PL album, but I lost steam when the kids were home from school for the summer and then never got back on track when they went back to school. Now, it seems like a daunting task to pick out all those pictures, print, etc. and the digital method is so much faster and I only print the finished product. It will be interesting to see what the family thinks about it once I’m done.
But I do miss washi tape! 🙂

Welcome back! Looks like a really fun mini vacation. I always adore your pages so it’s good to see you posting again. I need to get into the digital. I just don’t have time for traditional method anymore–barely enough for the simple blog I do. Each have to do what works for us and just be thankful we did something at all!

Andrea, Thank you so much for stopping by and for the encouragement! I have a nasty virus but I’m hoping that I’ll feel up to working on some more pages this weekend… and I think digital is the way to go right now!
