It’s been warm here this week.
In the 70’s the last couple days.
It’s been wonderful.
I feel like a bear coming out of hibernation.
I want to sit outside and soak up the sun, feel the breeze on my face and listen to the birdies chirp.
*achoo*
and sneeze.
darn allergies.
But –
as I sit and soak up the rays and revel in the milder temperatures, there is a part of me that wonders if it is all really, truly happening…
or is this just a tease?
Will we have another spring “blizzard” like we did in ‘93 when we were snowed in for a week in April?
One never knows.
I’m kinda thinking we might.
But, until then, I’ll enjoy what we have.
Yes, I’ve also been wondering about this. It is pretty mild here for February (I’d say “mid-February” except that it’s been like this for 2 weeks at least). Last time I can remember such mild weather so early, we ended up with a freezing cold spell at Easter (and my mum caught pneumonia while we were on holiday!). Still, we’d better make the best of the better weather while we can!

Hey again! Thanks for the comment about Bella the Sock Monkey – I’m rather pleased with how she turned out (well, except for the chaos in the studio ever since…). If your girls like Sock Monkeys, perhaps you’d like the tutorial I put on my blog last year – http://lizziemade.blogspot.com/2009/12/monkey-madness.html – if you got a couple of pairs of socks and some toy stuffing, they could make their own!

I’ve been holding my breath… it hasn’t gotten below 40 here in over a week. I’m feeling lucky!
