Simple Woman’s Daybook

FOR TODAY

Outside my window… overcast skies, falling leaves and little birdies fattening up for the winter
I am thinking…of all the things on my “to-do” list versus “want-to-do” list and which will get done today.
I am thankful for…spending the day with my girls on their school holiday
From the kitchen… meatloaf with roasted vegetables
I am wearing…PJs that are soft, comfy and snuggly
I am going…grocery shopping today
I am reading…The Venetian Betrayal
I am hoping…to find some time to be creative today – baking, knitting, or scrapbooking. It is good for my soul.
I am hearing…my baby girl singing (off key) Michael Jackson’s “You are Not Alone”
Around the house…cats are sleeping, kids are playing, dogs are romping
One of my favorite things…my morning cup of tea
A few plans for the rest of the week… ballet, jazz, girl scouts, knitting class
Here is picture for thought I am sharing…

  1. Hello,
I’m stopping by from The Simple Woman’s Daybook list. I love meeting new people, and I enjoyed reading your entry.
It seems like the weather is pretty much the same everywhere today.
I have a “to do list”, too, but the “want to do’s” always win out! Take care…Kathy

  2. Very much like your Daybook List, and a wonderfully autumnal photo. How lovely to be able to hear your DD singing, and have them at home to spend time with!

  3. Kathy,
    Thanks for stopping by!
I am trying hard to find a little more balance with my “want to do” and my “need to do” list. I did better last week. We will see how this week goes.

  4. Alexa,
You are right – I am so lucky to be able to work at home and enjoy being with my children when they’re home from school.
Thanks for stopping by – I absolutely LOVE your blog, by the way. 🙂
